I am making this right now and the delicious smells are making everyone slobber. It has only been in the oven for like five minutes and packs of stray dogs and teenagers are hanging out in front of the windows trying to catch a peek into the kitchen… I made this soy sauce shit and poured it all over some chicken thighs. I left the skin on so it will become crispy and super awesome. DO IT RIGHT NOW.
This is a recipe for tomato sauce originally posted on Smitten Kitten. I haven’t made it yet, but I will, because butter. Also, a friend has already tried it and said lots of words about how great it is. And it’s being passed around Facebook, which we all know means it’s legit.
When you click on it, you will see a picture of some sauce on some pasta. But you don’t have to put it on pasta! I’m sure you can imagine your own low-carb uses for a delicious tomato sauce, but here are some applications anyway:
on eggs (because ketchup is gross, and full of sugar).
on low-carb pizza with a crust made of cauliflower, zucchini, or chicken breast, or cheese.
drizzled over chicken, under a layer of melted cheese.
enveloping shiritaki noodles.
